I want to add pottery to my elementary art curriculum. I need a kiln and materials. I've got a good handle on kiln and requirements. Need help on materials. I want to keep it simple and safe. Elementary safe materials. What products should I look into?

You could use air dry clay, but I haven't tried it myself. We have a kiln in my school and just use terra cotta clay from a company called "Ceramic Supply" http://ceramicsupplyinc.com. I don't teach ceramics right now, my colleague does, so my knowledge of what gets ordered is limited. But maybe this will provide you with some information to get started.
They are located in NJ, and I am not sure if they serve beyond the tri-state area, but you may want to contact them.
