PRAXIS 5018 Pass/Fail Question

    Yes. I took the 5018.

    It for the state of TN, which requires a 163. So that means I failed :(

    In fact it means you came close to passing, which is usefully not the same thing.

    From your raw scores, it looks like your performance was respectable in science and social studies but somewhat more behind the curve in reading and math. Let me point out, by the way, that the four raw scores are there to give you some idea how you did in each domain - your score report will tell you out of how many scored points that was, and that number will be less than the number of questions in each domain because some questions are being field-tested for use in future tests. But what determines whether a person passes is whether the person collects enough raw points overall to be granted the necessary number of scaled points. That is, a low raw score in one or even two domains doesn't doom the test taker provided the points are made up somewhere else in the test. I hope you'll see this as good news.
